Tranzo ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at http://localhost:3000. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • File names, file contents, or file metadata of any transfer
  • Names, email addresses, or account credentials (no account system exists)
  • Device identifiers linked to personal profiles

2. Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit Tranzo, our server automatically receives standard web server log data including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and page requested. This data is used solely for abuse prevention and server health monitoring. Logs are retained for no more than 30 days and are never sold.

3. WebRTC Signaling Data

To establish a peer connection, our signaling server exchanges Session Description Protocol (SDP) messages and ICE candidates between peers. This metadata contains connection information only — it does not include file data. It is processed in-memory and never written to disk.

4. Cookies

Tranzo uses minimal session data stored in your browser's sessionStorage for room auto-accept preferences. This data never leaves your device. For advertising purposes, third-party ad networks may set cookies — see our Cookie Policy.

5. Advertising

We may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks including Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your previous visits to our site and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings or NAI opt-out page.

6. Third-Party Services

Tranzo uses the following third-party services:

  • Google Fonts — font files loaded from Google's CDN
  • jsDelivr CDN — Bootstrap and QR library files
  • coturn — TURN relay server operated by us for NAT traversal

7. Data Retention

Room state is stored in server memory only and is deleted when all participants leave or the server restarts. No persistent file or transfer records are kept.

8. Children's Privacy

Tranzo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
